The CRL3 Executive Committee and Transilvania University of Brasov announces a call for papers for the 3rd Carl Loper Symposium on Processing of Metallic Materials through Casting and Solidification. The topics of interest for this conference include, but are not limited to:

· Solidification Science and Advanced Engineering including design, calculation, control (e.g., Thermal Analysis) and simulation tools.

· Melting Methods and Special Processing

· Melt Treatment of, and Inoculation/Modification Methods for, casting alloys with emphasis on, but not limited to, cast iron and aluminum alloys.

· Properties of casting alloys.

· Test Methods including topics related to the production and/or qualification of casting alloys.

· Additive Manufacturing.

· Corrosion, environment, and sustainability.

All paper submissions should be as a Microsoft Word document and must follow the approved conference format available as an attachment (see attached Papers Template). Please submit your abstracts and then paper(s) to:
